Key Responsibilities Design and specify Electrical Building Services systems from concept to detailed design, including power, earthing, lighting, safety, telecoms, security, access control, lifts, and lightning protection. Produce detailed calculations using industry-standard software such as Excel, Amtech, and Dialux/Relux. Prepare technical specifications, design reports, and presentations. Collaborate with the BIM team to develop models and drawings, with working knowledge of Revit. Represent the consultancy at client and stakeholder meetings. Conduct condition surveys, inspections, and oversee installation and commissioning. Manage personal workload and ensure projects are delivered to high standards within agreed deadlines and budgets. Support the technical development of junior team members. Candidate Profile Demonstrable experience in Building Services Engineering with a passion for design excellence. A natural curiosity and interest in innovative working methods. Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Working towards Chartered Membership of IET, CIBSE, or an equivalent professional body. Proficient in software such as Amtech/Prodesign, Dialux/Relux, NBS, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of high-voltage design tools is advantageous. Strong understanding of UK technical standards and codes of practice. Familiarity with energy reduction strategies and approaches to decarbonisation. Experience in energy and carbon data capture and analytics. Competence in designing for measurement and verification, including commissioning and post-installation performance evaluation. Why Join?
