Our client is a privately owned building services consultancy established in 1987. They have experienced steady growth by providing first class project delivery and now consist of a team of 75 multi-disciplinary Building Services Engineers. They are looking for a Revit Technician to work on a diverse project portfolio, including masterplan regeneration projects, mixed use residential and commercial schemes, hotels, and medical centres. To be considered for this role applicants will have: 2 years REVIT experience in a commercial working environment. Using Revit MEP to create complex 3D building systems and geometries for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, IT, containment and fire protection systems. Working from Engineer’s mark-up's and sketches under minimum supervision to produce MEP drawings in Revit MEP and CAD as appropriate to each project. Proven hands-on Experience of Autodesk Building Design Suite, which includes Revit Practical knowledge of 3D BIM/REVIT Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D Familiar with UK building regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Preparing fee bids and presentations for new work. Communicating directly with customers, project teams and outsourced delivery teams. Develop relationships with new and existing customers. Lead the mechanical discipline on projects or as project leader, taking ownership for project deliverables. Managing the day-to-day workload of engineers and technicians. Prepare technical calculations, reports, designs, drawings and specifications. Monitor the financial performance of projects as well as setting up and managing administrative systems, project resource planning, expenditure and WIP management. Undertake project technical/quality reviews and attend design reviews/team meetings as needed for the smooth operation of the project(s). Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven experience as a Mechanical Associate or Associate Director in building services. Strong technical background in mechanical systems design and delivery. Chartered Engineer status and a degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Demonstrated leadership on large-scale, complex projects. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Your new role This senior level role sits within the Technical Consulting team delivering services for their clients. These services include Asset management surveys, Compliance Management, Capital works, Life Cycle projects, Dilapidation reports, Maintenance auditing and Due diligence reporting. These sites will be primarily around London but could include some travel around the UK. What you'll need to succeed Ideally from a similar consulting background or technical discipline. You must be customer facing and prepared to explain in detail with a building occupier all aspects of the Building Services plant. Training will be provided for certain services, so a can-do attitude is needed to really throw yourself into this role. A technical qualification will be required in a Building Services discipline and a strong knowledge of operational facilities. Principal Electrical Design Engineer
