Associate Mechanical Director
Your new company Is part of a global engineering group who are growing their presence in the UK. They are a multidisciplinary consultancy who work across a number of sectors and project types but are best known for their work in the Middle East, where they successfully compete against the biggest consultancies in the world. They are on a growth trajectory and have just moved office to a location in the city. They pride themselves on developing all round Engineers and have grown a strong team naturally as a result and are rarely hiring on mass. They have had an opportunity for an Associate to step into a Director's level role and help run a team and act as the number two to the current London Director. There is also some succession planning in place as they would like this person to move up to Director level with their help. Your new role Is as an Associate Director helping to lead teams and projects and act as a deputy to the current London Director. You will be responsible for hiring your team with a number of direct reports underneath you. Besides this, you will have a lot of influence over projects and help manage clients, getting involved in the commercial side of the job, helping to manage the office. What you'll need to succeed You must have a number of years experience at an Associate level with experience in residential, commercial and ideally middle eastern projects and be ready to step up into a Directors-level role. You must be able to maintain and enforce systems and take responsibility for junior staff. You must have a track record on the delivery of large projects over a number of years and be comfortable in a client-facing role. Principal Electrical MEP Engineer
