Your new role As a Mechanical Site Manager based in Birmingham, you will report to the Project/Contracts Manager and take responsibility for overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services. Senior CAD Technician – Civil / Infrastructure Design 📍 Sheffield | Hybrid Working | Permanent I’m working with a respected civil and structural engineering consultancy with offices across the UK, who are looking to add a Senior CAD Technician to their expanding Sheffield team . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CAD professional to join a supportive and growing civil engineering design team, delivering residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across the region. The Role You’ll take ownership of producing and coordinating detailed 2D and 3D drawings for highways, drainage, and external works — working closely with engineers through all project stages. The role offers the chance to contribute to adoptable infrastructure design (S278, S38, S104) , mentor junior technicians, and help refine CAD standards and workflows across the business. What You’ll Need 5+ years’ experience as a CAD Technician in a civil or infrastructure design environment. Strong AutoCAD skills (essential); working knowledge of Civil 3D or similar advantageous. Understanding of Section 278, Section 38, and Section 104 design processes. Familiarity with SuDS, DMRB , and Sewers for Adoption .
