What you'll need: An in-depth knowledge of Building Services practices, procedures, and standards with particular focus on full Electrical Buildings Services Design and Project Management. A passion for decarbonisation and design of Net Zero systems. Knowledge of the BIM process and the built environment would be advantageous. The ability to work as part of a team or autonomously, with excellent team skills and strong attention to detail. Electrical Supervisor

Your new company You'll be joining a leading national contractor with a strong track record of delivering secure public sector projects across the UK. Known for their professionalism and collaborative approach, they are currently delivering a short-term mechanical upgrade scheme on a live government site in South Gloucestershire. The project involves heating system improvements and asbestos removal, requiring careful coordination and compliance with strict site protocols. Your new role As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the works, ensuring health and safety standards are upheld and that the programme is delivered on time and within budget. You'll manage subcontractors, liaise with the client and site security teams, and ensure all documentation and permits are in place.Key responsibilities include: Managing radiator replacement works and associated mechanical upgrades Overseeing licenced asbestos removal in designated areas Ensuring compliance with secure site procedures and able to achieve BPSS clearance Coordinating trades and maintaining site records Reporting progress to the Project Manager and client representatives This is a daytime role with no night shifts, running for approximately 12-14 weeks from early January 2026. What you'll need to succeed You'll need previous experience working on secure government sites - ideally within the justice sector - and be confident managing short-term refurbishment or M&E packages. A valid Black or Gold CSCS card, SMSTS, First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness certification are essential. You must also be eligible for BPSS clearance.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within strict protocols are key.
