Principal/Associate Electrical Engineer

Your new role As a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer, you will lead and deliver multiple medium to large-scale projects, covering all aspects of electrical design within a consultancy environment. Your responsibilities will include: Designing electrical services from concept through to completion across various sectors Producing detailed design calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings Conducting site surveys and construction stage duties Liaising with clients and multidisciplinary design/construction teams Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Mentoring junior and intermediate engineers Supporting directors with resource planning and team management Contributing to fee estimates and bid submissions What you'll need to succeed Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field Chartered Engineer status or working towards it Proven experience managing building services projects from concept to handover Strong client-facing and communication skills Commercial awareness and project cost control experience Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and develop a team Knowledge of sustainable design and renewable technologies Proficiency in digital tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Relux, Dialux, Amtech, NBS, and Microsoft Office Full UK driving licence What you'll get in return This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the world's leading engineering consultancies. Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Your New Company Hays Building Services are pleased to be assisting an M+E contractor in Gloucester with the recruitment of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. Your New Role You will be responsible for leading the mechanical design process from concept through to completion, including producing detailed mechanical engineering designs and calculations, collaborating with architects, structural engineers and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems into the overall project design, as well as preparing and reviewing technical reports, specifications and documentation.
