Assistant Director of Regulated Delivery - Housing

Your new role You will oversee a blended model of in-house direct labour teams and external supply chain partners, leading and empowering your teams to deliver effective building, mechanical, electrical, and regulated compliance related works and services across Aster's property portfolio to ensure homes are safe and well maintained. You will deliver against challenging KPIs, ensure continuous improvement and customer safety across gas, fire, water, electrical, M&E and asbestos. You will work in partnership with the Property Services Director to shape and implement the property delivery strategies, regulatory and policy requirements, and lead on change to embed a positive and enthusiastic culture. Oversee regulatory repairs within required timelines, such damp, mould, disrepair and compliance cases. Oversee HHSRS related complex repairs, including escalated complaints that require additional attention to de-escalate and resolve. Accountable for performance targets, budgets, and work programmes. Develop policies and plans to improve the service, mitigate risk, and enhance service delivery. What you'll need to succeed Educated to degree level or demonstrate relevant experience. Professionally qualified in construction or a building related discipline. Significant experience in managing a large social housing asset portfolio. Leading strategic business development, leading a business or large team through several cycles of business planning and execution. Delivery of change management across complex people, business, and digital projects. Experience of influencing and negotiating at all levels across an organisation. Civil 3D Technician – Highways & Drainage 📍 Central London A growing and well-established engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Engineering Technician (Civil 3D) to join its civil infrastructure team in Central London . This role will focus heavily on drainage design , supporting the delivery of development and infrastructure projects across sectors such as residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and project teams to produce high-quality technical drawings and infrastructure designs from concept through to construction. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative consultancy environment working on a wide range of projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities Producing detailed drainage layouts and infrastructure drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D . Supporting the design of surface water and foul drainage systems , including SuDS strategies . Preparing technical drawings, levels, and infrastructure layouts for development projects. Assisting with drainage modelling and design calculations using software such as InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, or Causeway Flow .
