As a Senior Electrical (Building Services) Design Engineer, you'll work on interesting projects and enjoy seeing them through from feasibility to post-occupancy. Reporting to the Electrical Associate, you'll be given the freedom and autonomy to lead your own projects, mentor the electrical team, and nurture your own client relationships. You'll benefit from up to 50 days of annual leave, a hybrid policy of three days a week in the office, and flexible working hours (you can start anytime between 8 am and 10 am). And you can also work remotely from abroad for up to a week at a time. Essential Requirements 5+ years' experience as an Electrical, Building Services Design Engineer. Able to communicate clearly and confidently with architects, clients, and contractors. They are large enough to be able to design and deliver medium to large projects, yet small enough that the Directors remain hands-on and know and value every employee.

They have an impressive portfolio of MEP schemes (up to £80m) and are growing from strength to strength in a sector dominating the Engineering industry. They are seeking a Senior Electrical Design engineer to join their expanding team to help deliver some of the outstanding buildings and projects that they work on including schemes across the education, high rise residential, large-scale commercial, stadia, and healthcare sectors. While a solid technical understanding of Electrical Building Services is required, they are looking for an individual with the ability to think laterally and apply learning and experience to new challenges. Technical Standards Carrying out design calculations and providing technical input to ensure solutions are correctly implemented. Creating drawings, reports and specifications that clearly demonstrate the requirements of the system/project to communicate information appropriately. Striving to develop knowledge and understand of all aspects of building services design to provide a greater depth of expertise. Utilising digital delivery resource in ensuring consistency in quality of delivered material whilst meeting project deadlines. Recording and imparting knowledge and lessons learnt to the wider team for the benefit of all. Utilise technical excellence and latest industry thinking within project delivery. Ensuring the project QA process is adhered to and utilised by default. Strong working knowledge of Revit for Mechanical and Electrical services. Experience coordinating BIM models across multidisciplinary design teams. Good understanding of BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 principles, including model management and coordination workflows. Working knowledge of Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection (desirable). Ability to support design teams with model setup, coordination reviews, and technical outputs. Strong attention to detail with a well‑organised and proactive approach to workload management. Confident communicator, comfortable working closely with engineers and wider project stakeholders. Experience contributing to large-scale or technically complex projects (industrial, data centres, logistics, or similar sectors advantageous). Comfortable working primarily in an office-based environment, with hybrid working available once eligible. Your new role As the Document Controller / Site Secretary, you will play a key administrative and technical support role within the project team. You'll manage all project documentation, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with company and project standards, and provide vital administrative support to keep the site running efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage the intake, scanning, verification and distribution of project documents, drawings and correspondence. Maintain the Document Management System, ensuring accurate filing, version control and accessibility.
