They specialise in delivering infrastructure and drainage solutions for residential and mixed-use developments , working closely with national housebuilders, regional developers, and planning consultants. Their portfolio includes a wide range of projects, from smaller bespoke schemes to large multi-phase residential developments , with a strong emphasis on practical, cost-effective design and delivering planning approvals. The Role They are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to support the delivery of infrastructure and drainage design across a growing pipeline of development-led projects. You’ll be working as part of a close-knit team, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle from initial concept through to technical approvals and construction support. Key Responsibilities Design of highways, drainage, and external works for development projects Preparation of: Drainage Strategies Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) Levels and earthworks design Production of technical drawings using AutoCAD / Civil 3D Liaison with local authorities, water companies, and other stakeholders Support planning applications and approvals (S104, S38, S278) Assist with project delivery and coordination What They’re Looking For Experience in civil engineering design (consultancy preferred) Exposure to infrastructure and drainage design for developments Familiarity with AutoCAD and drainage software (e.g. MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage) Understanding of UK design standards and approvals process Strong communication skills and willingness to learn Why Join? Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience in a UK design consultancy. Expertise in mechanical building services design, with a solid understanding of technical standards, legislation, and best practice.
