Your new role As Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you'll take ownership of electrical design delivery from concept through to completion. You'll lead on project design packages, guide junior and intermediate engineers, and represent the business in design team and client meetings. Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer - Design and Consultancy

The Role As a Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will be involved in the full project lifecycle, including surveying, design, coordination, reporting and inspection of mechanical services installations. Your work will include the design and specification of mechanical building services such as: Decarbonisation Renewable technologies LTHW heating systems Ventilation systems Air conditioning Domestic hot and cold-water services Heat pumps and low-carbon technologies Drainage systems Gas services Plant rooms External mechanical services Plant selection and specification Mechanical design calculations Thermal modelling CAD drawings and technical documentation You will work directly with clients, design teams, contractors and colleagues to deliver practical, compliant and energy-efficient engineering solutions. About You You will have strong experience in  Mechanical Building Services Consultancy and Design , ideally with at least 3 years’ relevant experience. You will also have one of the following, or equivalent experience: ONC in Building Services HNC in Building Services Degree in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline Your knowledge and experience should at least be aligned with the requirements for CIBSE Incorporated Engineer status. You should be comfortable with: Mechanical building services design Building Regulations Part L compliance CIBSE AM11 Building Performance Modelling AutoCAD Dynamic thermal modelling software such as EDSL TAS or IES Producing your own thermal models Preparing CAD drawings and design documentation Most importantly, you will be someone who wants to keep developing.
