Due to securing several high-rise mixed-use developments in London, this multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for a reliable Mechanical Design Engineer. Supported by a friendly, easy-going, and approachable Chartered Associate Director, you'll enjoy as much responsibility and autonomy as you want. If you're up for it, you'll have the chance to lead projects, mentor engineers, and assist with design management. As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll interact directly with clients and act as the single point of contact for all aspects of HVAC design. You'll attend DTMs, deliver client presentations, assist with fee bids, allocate resources, and oversee the work produced by junior and graduate engineers. This role will suit a client-facing Mechanical (Building Services) Design Engineer who enjoys seeing projects progress from feasibility through to construction, and who is looking for a clear path to Senior Engineer. Overall, this is a great opportunity to join a social, supportive team culture. You'll also benefit from a relaxed hybrid working policy, with just two days per week required in the office as a minimum. Key Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience in HVAC design within a consultancy or design & build contractor. Experience in residential, hotel, education, or mixed-use projects. Proven experience delivering projects from feasibility, concept, and detailed design, through to supervising installation and commissioning of MEP services. Ideally, some experience in producing Public Health (above-ground) services.
