Sustainability Consultant/BREEAM Assessor
Our client is a privately owned building services consultancy established in 1987. They have experienced steady growth by providing first class project delivery and now consist of a team of 50 multi-disciplinary Building Services and Sustainability Engineers. They are looking for a Lead Sustainable Consultant to work on some of the UK’s largest high end residential and hotel projects. Responsibilities: Manage a team of six people working on sustainability initiatives. Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives. Monitor and report on progress towards sustainability goals. Work with other departments to ensure that sustainability is integrated into all aspects of the projects. Stay up to date with the latest sustainability trends and technologies. Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability standards and regulations. Communicate sustainability initiatives and progress to our clients. Requirements: Knowledge of sustainability standards and regulations. Experience managing a team of people. Strong communication and leadership skills. Knowledge of BREEAM and SAP. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. They are offering: Salary ranges up to £55,000. Mechanical Surveyor
Mechanical Surveyor (Building Services) to £70,000 + Bonus + Package Join this growing consultancy and experience the true essence of hybrid working. Their stable and experienced leadership team believes in trust, not micromanagement, and this approach will enable you to have an unparalleled flexibility to getting work done. No fixed days in the office, only travelling to the office when needed for client/team meetings or site visits, which will usually be coupled with a social/team meet up. Alongside your experience in Building Services, you would also receive additional training to take on the following duties: Undertake site inspections at various sites throughout the UK (typically in and around London and within 2 hours commute, but, from time-to-time travel further around the UK and in Europe). Following site surveys, carry out a review of (Landlord/Operator) servicing, maintenance and statutory testing documentation and a review of (Landlord/Tenant/Operator) O&Ms/base build specifications (as made available) to assist and inform the reports. Production of MEP (technical due diligence/ vendors / condition) reports including summary of the mechanical services, commentary on condition of installed services, high-level principal considerations and major MEP capital expenditure costs across the next 10-year period. Review of the tenure documentation including leases, licences for alterations, wayleave agreements, schedules of condition, base build definitions, Tenant fit-out guides etc. Prepare dilapidations assessments associated with the M&E systems for the demises in the requested format. Produce PPM CAPEX schedules across multiple properties. Undertake feasibility studies including site inspections, review of information and use the client brief to inform the strategy for the study. Produce a formal report and drawings, where necessary, to inform the feasibility study at various properties. Clients include small to large property consultants, surveyors, developers, and frameworks, across a variety of sectors including, Commercial, Education, Hotels, Residential and Healthcare. A very profitable and stable business, and the leaders have a clear plan and vision for future growth. Mechanical Engineer
Our client is a privately owned building services consultancy established in 1987. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on some of the UK’s largest high end residential and hotel projects. Key Accountabilities Produce detailed design calculations and preparation of design drawings, specifications, and information. Assist in the practical training of Graduate and Technician Engineers. Managing a team of junior engineers. Receive brief from Principal Engineer about initial design information. Produce all design information as outlined in the Project Management Plan. Ensure that all calculations and drawings have been properly checked. Liaise with internal and external Design Team, Client and Contractors. Assemble all calculations, drawings, correspondence, and other project documents. Consider financial implications in producing design option. Maintain good communication with Clients, Design Team and Contractors to meet the Company’s standards in customer care. Ensure client satisfaction in project delivery with a view to obtaining repeat business. Maintain and develop an understanding of the key software. You will need to have the below 3 years’+ Experience of Mechanical building services design. Experience in Residential project detail design (Stage 4). Experience of attending client meetings. Revit Technician
Our client is a privately owned building services consultancy established in 1987. They have experienced steady growth by providing first class project delivery and now consist of a team of 75 multi-disciplinary Building Services Engineers. They are looking for a Revit Technician to work on a diverse project portfolio, including masterplan regeneration projects, mixed use residential and commercial schemes, hotels, and medical centres. To be considered for this role applicants will have: 2 years REVIT experience in a commercial working environment. Using Revit MEP to create complex 3D building systems and geometries for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, IT, containment and fire protection systems. Working from Engineer’s mark-up's and sketches under minimum supervision to produce MEP drawings in Revit MEP and CAD as appropriate to each project. Proven hands-on Experience of Autodesk Building Design Suite, which includes Revit Practical knowledge of 3D BIM/REVIT Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D Familiar with UK building regulations.
