Mobile Electrician - Brighton
My client are an electrical contractors’ firm, based in Eastbourne and Hove. They have been established for over 45 years and offer a range of electrical services to key client groups (local authorities, schools/academies, commercial clients, and individuals) across Sussex and Kent. They currently employ over 65 staff to support our operations and offer a friendly and supportive environment in which our staff thrive and feel valued. THE ROLE - ELECTRICIAN This role sits within our Contracts works team and supports delivery of a Social Homes contract, Worthing Homes. 80% of this role will be EICR testing within flats and houses, whilst the remainder will be reactive and small remedial works. The post holder will ensure onsite works are conducted in line with the required technical and regulatory standards and adhere to all company policies and processes and will liaise with clients in a professional manner, ensuring the highest standards of customer care. The role will be included in our call-out rota and will be subject to our call-out retainer pay as per our terms and conditions. A company vehicle is included in the role. This role will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check due to the nature of our client groups and sites attended. Semi-Static AC Engineer (Data Centres)
My client is seeking a Semi Static AC Engineer with Data Centre experience - who is happy to be based 3 days a week on a Static Site in Hounslow and mobile the other 2 days working in Car Show Rooms. Experience with the following equipment is vital: Chilled water & DX units CRAC Units Dry Aired Coolers Chillers VRVs/VRFs Splits Mult splits Associated pumps (conventional heat pumps, big water pumps) THE ROLE Monday - Friday / 08.30 - 17.30 You will be a Semi Static AC Engineer, based 3 days a week on a Data Centre (single man site) in Hounslow and 2 days a week mobile working mainly within Car Show Rooms (Audi, VW etc). Your area of cover will be mainly West London, Central London and Surrounding Counties, (they don't have any sites East London & Essex). Duties: Service and maintenance of mechanical plant and components as detailed within the asset registers of equipment and referenced on planned maintenance programmes which will be fundamental to the contract on a quarterly rotation basis. The maintenance of accurate written records for works carried out to plant on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cycle. The maintenance of accurate service records and technical reporting for works carried out to plant and equipment where these items have either failed or required emergency service. Expected general duties: - Maintain a high level of response and professionalism when dealing with customers on site. Ensure accurate recording, reporting and technical accountancy. Generally, assist in the smooth running of the sites and support fellow team members in achieving the overall responsiveness and spirit of the contract. Carry out work that might be required in order to support the team in an emergency.
