THE COMPANY My client are a M&E Contractor who are based in Essex. Since their conception in 2016, they now employ over 50 people in the business and turnover over £7million. They specialise in live environment projects which include Medical, Offices and banks across London. Project values generally fall between £250k - £500k. They are seeking an Electrical Project Manager (with mechanical and fabric knowledge) to join the team on a Temporary basis and can offer work up until the end of January 2026. Looking to start early October. THE JOB – ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER Monday – Friday / 7am – 4pm The Electrical Project Manager will be Site & Office Based, reporting to a Senior Project Manager and will have a Site Manager beneath them. The sites will all be within live environment and you will be running multiple projects at one time within the £250k - £500k value range. You will be responsible for Project Delivery from start to completion and will be running up to 2 projects at any one time. Experience in the above is essential. Mechanical Estimator - SE London
My client are an MEP Contractor who are based in Southeast London and have a company turnover of around £3mil. They specialise in Residential New Builds & Commercial Refurbishment Projects in the region of £50k - £17mil across London & The Home Counties. Due to growth they are seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join the team. THE ROLE – MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR Monday – Friday / 8am-5pm. You will be office based in Southeast London, producing tenders for Mechanical projects up to a value of £17mil. Duties: Tendering & Cost Estimation Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical works Assess drawings, specifications, and site surveys to determine material, labour, and equipment needs. Develop Bills of Quantities (BoQ) or schedules of rates. Produce cost plans, budgets, and value-engineered options. Bid Management Review invitations to tender (ITTs), RFQs, and PQQs to ensure compliance. Prepare and submit competitive tender proposals. Liaise with supply chain partners for quotations and rates. Identify commercial risks and mitigation measures within bids. Technical & Commercial Analysis Carry out site inspections and feasibility studies. Evaluate subcontractor bids and supplier quotations for accuracy and compliance. Ensure all costs reflect current market conditions, building codes, and best practices. Support cost modelling for reactive and planned maintenance projects. Collaboration & Liaison Work closely with project managers, contracts managers, surveyors, and procurement teams. Provide pre- and post-contract support, including clarification of estimates. Engage with clients and consultants to explain cost breakdowns. Risk & Compliance Identify potential risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies. Ensure estimates comply with health & safety regulations, sustainability goals, and statutory requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction materials, building regulations, and industry standards. Leadership & Mentoring Guide junior estimators and assist in their professional development. Establish best practices in estimating, cost tracking, and bid submissions. Lead estimating efforts for high-value or complex fabric service projects. Typical Outputs Cost estimates and tender submissions. Budget forecasts for planned and reactive fabric maintenance. Risk registers and commercial assumptions. Supplier and subcontractor cost analysis reports. Value-engineering proposals. THE JOB – HVAC SERVICE MANAGER Monday – Friday / 9.00am – 5.30pm / 40 Hour Weeks. Duties in Role Leading the company’s service team under the guidance of Service Director and Operations Director Manage a team of 3 Service Coordinators and 10 Engineers Co-ordinate daily engineer activities: PPMs, remedial works and call-outs Technical support for engineers and coordinators Assist Service Coordinators with pricing of remedial works Managing F Gas compliance Maintaining & adhering to any client procedures Maintaining professional relationships with clients at all times.
