Intermediate/ Senior mechanical engineer (Building services)
I am looking for a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join a leading consultancy team delivering innovative, sustainable design solutions across sectors such as commercial, healthcare, education, and residential. This office has seen a 30% growth in the lat few years, thus they are investing in their people. You will play a key role in designing and coordinating mechanical systems for high-profile projects, including data centres and complex building environments. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical building services systems (HVAC, chilled water, heating, ventilation) from concept to completion. Produce detailed drawings and specifications using Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows. Carry out thermal modelling, load calculations, and compliance checks. Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and contractors to ensure coordinated, clash-free designs. Attend client meetings and contribute to technical presentations and reports. Ensure designs meet UK regulations and sustainability standards. What We're Looking For Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. Experience in mechanical building services design within consultancy or contractor environments. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and familiarity with BIM processes.
