Electrical Building Services Engineer

Your new company Your new company is one of the Northwest's largest Service Providers with over 6000 staff based across the region. Their HQ is based in Liverpool city centre with over 50 other sites and offices across the Merseyside region. They are well established in the community and provide the public with reliable, continuous and trusted support. The buildings you will be involved with range from a state-of-the-art large HQ which consists of 5 stories, multiple offices and open-plan communal working environments, an on-site gym, training facilities, café and coffee shop to smaller, multi purpose sites which serve both the community and its staff alike. Your new role Your new role will see you working as an Electrical Building Services design engineer across the entire estate and be based from the Liverpool head office. You will be conducting the design of multiple schemes which range in value from £30,000 - £12m and can be anything from new build to refurbishments. You will be taking the lead as the only electrical engineer. However, you will be supported by an established and successful team who will work by your side and help deliver projects on time. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role you will have a minimum of 5 years' UK Building Services experience, have full British working rights, and be a UK passport holder or ILR. There is a 12-week vetting process for this role, so all applicants should keep this in mind. The organisation is happy to supply any of the following design software: AutoCAD, AMtech, DIALux or RELux. Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer - £38 to £45K - International projects, supportive mentor and clear progression. Established over 50 years ago, this global multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy employs over 5000 engineers. They remain privately owned and will always put people, before profit. Having just secured several large-scale projects across the UK and the UAE, they are now looking for an additional Mechanical (HVAC / Building Services) Design Engineer for their London office. Reporting to a Chartered Associate or Director who has been at the forefront of Low Carbon Building design for the past decade, you'll be in a great position to develop as an Engineer. You'll work in a team of around 25 MEP Design Engineers; and design a range of buildings including high-rise offices, hotels, residential and cultural buildings such as museums and places of worship. Their flat management structure will allow you to progress to a Senior role within two years; and you'll also benefit from working on major projects.
