To be successful entries need to showcase the contribution of MEP to the overall project. They should highlight any innovative solutions to particular architectural or structural requirements, any new technologies adopted, or existing ones refined, or any specific attention paid to logistical requirements, off-site fabrication and supplier sourcing, for example. Their company may be operating in any part of the MEP chain, from manufacturers through suppliers, contractors, and consultants. Submissions should include specific information on aspects of the MEP project, such as potential energy or water savings, or long-term operational expenditure savings.
All shortlisted entries to the MENA Building Performance Award will automatically be entered into the global CIBSE Building Performance Awards, offering the opportunity for further recognition of their achievements and leadership.

This award will go to an established individual in the Manufacture and Supplier fields whose exceptional work over the last twelve months has advanced the field in the region. The entrant’s career achievements and stature in the discipline of Manufacturer and Supply promote its continued product excellence in the region.
Entries should be from MENA based organisations or the MENA office of organisations with multiple offices. The awards are open to all Engineers who are involved in a sustainable lighting project and shall demonstrate the outstanding work carried out between the period of 1st June 2025 – 1st June 2026.
Entries to the Data Centre Project of the Year – Contractor category should demonstrate excellence in the construction, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of data centre projects completed or nearing completion within the last 12 months. Submissions should highlight how the contractor contributed to the overall success of the project through high quality execution, adherence to safety and compliance standards, effective coordination, and timely delivery of mission critical systems. The winner must be actively involved in the building services industry and whose exceptional work over the last twelve months has advanced the field in the region. Award winning submission would highlight the following:

The Graduate of the Year will be an up and coming individual whose outstanding work in the last twelve months has shown an aptitude, skills-set and personality that points to a big future in the MEP sector, where they carry on the industries high level of technical excellence. Nominees up to the age of 29 are eligible to apply.
Entries should be from MENA based organisations or offices. The awards are open to all Building Services young engineers who have studied / trained within the period of 1st June 2025 – 1st June 2026. Engineers who are still studying / training are eligible. Apprentices and young engineers will be judged on their skills development, college work, achievements at work and attitude. Engineers up to the age of 29 are eligible to apply.

The Embodied Carbon Initiative of the Year award celebrates the consultancies that empowers its employees through creative and high impact programmes that boost employee awareness and engagement and ultimately driving long term development of the industry. The winning entry will be a company that is disrupting the existing engagement norms to create new opportunities for employees to excel within the industry.
Entries should be from MENA based building services consultancies, or the MENA office of organisations with multiple offices, and be based on the consultancy services delivered during the period 1st June 2025 – 1st June 2026. They should also be accompanied by other partners such as contractors, and other participants in the supply chain.
Entries to the Supplier of the Year Award should demonstrate outstanding performance, reliability, innovation, and value delivery within the built environment supply chain over the last 12 months. Submissions should highlight how the supplier has supported clients, contractors, consultants, and project teams through high quality products, exceptional service, and consistent operational excellence. Successful entries must clearly showcase how the supplier has contributed to project success through dependable logistics, strong technical support, sustainable sourcing, and proactive problem solving. This includes demonstrating how the organisation has improved supply chain efficiency, enhanced product availability, reduced lead times, and maintained high standards of quality and compliance. Eligible suppliers may operate in any segment of the built environment, including MEP equipment, lighting, façade systems, HVAC components, controls, building materials, specialist technologies, or integrated solutions. Submissions should also highlight:
