Entries open 13 April 2026.
This award is open to all CIBSE student members in their final year of BSc, BEng, MSc and MEng study, and is designed to encourage students to develop their potential and aim for excellence.
Entrants need to submit a 450-word abstract and a 3-minute video of their final year project, together with a completed entry form.
- First Place: £500 cash prize
- Second Place: £200 cash prize
- Third Place: £100 cash prize
What happens after I submit my entry:
- The judges will use your entry form to evaluate your entry and create a shortlist.
- The shortlist will be announced at the beginning of September.
- The Awards ceremony will be held on 8 October 2026 in London, UK.
