The CIBSE Skills and Future Workforce Conference 2026 will bring together policy makers and stakeholders to discuss priorities for delivering the skills and future workforce required in the transition to a safer, sustainable built environment. It will focus on steps taken to bridge the skills gap, with a focus on renewables, digital tools, and sustainability, along with skills related to technical knowledge, collaboration, problem solving, and communication.
The programme will examine the skills gap facing the building services sector, and how industry leaders, major employers, and the wider profession can work together to build a resilinet, diverse, and future ready workforce. We will explore the challenges and opportunities in talent development in building services, highlighting strategies to attract, train, and retain skilled engineers.
