Book NowLearn how TMVs and TBVs enable thermal safety balancing to achieve scald protection, Legionella control, and full compliance with standards.
Scald prevention and Legionella control are often seen as conflicting design priorities, but they don’t have to be. This session guides consultants through the principles of thermal safety balancing, exploring how thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) and thermal balancing valves (TBVs) work together to deliver safe, consistent and reliable hot water.
From Part G and TMV2/3 certification to HTM 04-01 and HSE guidance, attendees will gain a clear understanding of compliance driven design, best practice layout, and commissioning strategies that protect users, maintain system hygiene, and support occupant wellbeing.
