A symposium shedding light on improving sustainability through circular solutions for lighting, and the living building challenge.

Join CIBSE NZ's Young Engineer's Network (YEN) and the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) for an enlightening evening featuring a series of speakers exploring sustainability in building services and the lighting industry. This will be a simultaneous in-person event across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch connected via video conferencing. Light dinner and refreshments will be provided. This will be a non-alcoholic event.

The presentation topics include:

  • "3D Led Lighting - One of the Circular Solutions for the Lighting Industry" presented by Graeme Neale from Signify
  • "Waste Minimisation & Circular Economy" presented by Mike Mcgee from Eagle Lighting
  • "The Living Building Challenge for Building Services - Material Health & Biophilic Design" by Caitlyn Lee from TENNENT BROWN ARCHITECTS

This event is suited to anyone with an interest in how the building services industry can integrate novel solutions in the endeavour to improve sustainability, and is ideal for professionals involved in lighting—both new and experienced.
