CIBSE YEN Victoria, in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric, is excited to host a networking and insight evening aimed at university students and early‑career professionals who want to better understand the building services industry and the roles within it.

This event brings together consultants, manufacturers, and young engineers in an informal and approachable setting.

What to expect

The evening will be structured to provide a clear, practical overview of the industry, followed by time to connect with professionals:

• Introduction to CIBSE YEN
  Learn who we are, what building services engineering involves, and what consultants do day‑to‑day.
• Meet Mitsubishi Electric
  An introduction to Mitsubishi Electric and the professionals presenting on the night.
• Industry insight session
  A presentation from Mitsubishi Electric on their role as a supplier in building services, how they work with consultants and clients, and how different parts of the industry collaborate on real projects.
• Networking session
  An open networking session with presenters and CIBSE YEN committee members—ask questions, hear career stories, and make new connections.

Event Schedule:

• 6:00 PM: Guest arrival, networking, food & drinks

• 6:00 – 7:00 PM: Presentation by CIBSE and Mitsubishi

• 7:00 PM onwards: Q&A and continued networking
