RIAS and CIBSE Scotland CPD: Net Zero Standards

The RIAS and CIBSE Scotland are delighted to announce the upcoming Architect-Building Services Engineer Breakfast Seminar at Material Source Studio, Glasgow.

This session will provide attendees with an update on the progress of both the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard and Scottish Government's Net Zero Public Sector Buildings Standard. This will include key findings from the UKNZCBS Pilot Testing Programme and an introduction to Version 1, launched in March 2026and a summary of updates planned for the Scottish Government's NZPSBS.

Our presenters, Katie Clemence Jackson and Ingrid Berkeley, will explore how architects and building services engineers can continue to support the Standards, outline how the verification processeswill work in practice, and highlight the key differences between the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard and the Scottish Government's Net Zero Public Sector Buildings Standard - clarifying common misconceptions along the way.

We will also be joined by an early adopter, who will share lessons learned from a recent project, before concluding with a panel Q&A chaired by Zoe Black and Sarah Peterson.
