There a still a lot of ANZ commercial and residential building stock with single glazing, uninsulated walls and exposed floor slabs. Current Australian standards require improved thermal performance and a reduction in air infiltration. However, if this is not applied intelligently, are we potentially creating a heightened risk of condensation?

We are joined by Yuzehen (Steve) Zhou, who will explore these issues.

Steve is the Technical Director of Warmframe Technology Corporation, focusing on R&D and technical services. With over 20 years of experience in façade engineering, Steve is the first NFRC-certified simulation specialist in China and has provided façade thermal design and engineering services for more than 400 domestic and international projects. Over the past five years, he has published more than 10 research papers on façade thermal design. Steve holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Tongji University and served as the official translator for the Chinese version of the NFRC Simulation Manual. He is also an active member of the Architectural Society of China (Building Physics Section), a LEED AP (BD+C), a member of the CTBUH and Façade Tectonics Institute’s peer review committee.

This event has only been sent to Members of the Society of Facade Engineering in the ANZ Hub and is a free event.
