SFE Young Engineers Network (YEN) – Industry Networking Evening

The Society of Façade Engineering Young Engineers Network is hosting an informal industry networking evening for emerging façade professionals.

The event will take place on Thursday 23 July 2026, 5:30pm – 8:30pm, at the Arup Melbourne office (699 Collins Street, Docklands, VIC 3008)

This event is aimed solely at early-career professionals with less than 10 years of façade industry experience, including engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, architects and related disciplines.

Agenda (Indicative):

5:30pm – Registration, welcome drinks and networking
6:00pm – Opening remarks and introduction to SFE YEN
6:10pm – Supplier Presentation 1
6:30pm – Informal networking and refreshments
7:15pm – Supplier Presentation 2
7:30pm – Continued networking
8:30pm – Event close

What is SFE?
The Society of Façade Engineering supports professionals involved in the design, specification, construction and performance of building façades. SFE provides a forum for technical knowledge sharing, professional development and industry engagement across the façade engineering sector.

What is YEN?
YEN provides a platform for young engineers and consultants to connect, share knowledge, develop technical and professional skills, and build relationships across the façade engineering industry through networking events, site visits, technical talks and collaborative initiatives. YEN is targeted to emerging façade professionals with less than 10 years of industry experience.

There will be a charge of $5 for attendees who do not have SFE membership. SFE members may attend free of charge.

Places are limited. If, after registering, you are no longer able to attend, please contact [email protected] so your ticket can be released to another attendee.
