Join SoPHE & CIBSE NW for the TM70:2025 launch event with Jassim Daureeawo and Professor Michael Gormley on tall buildings drainage design.

SoPHE North West, in partnership with CIBSE North West, is pleased to present a technical evening seminar to celebrate the regional launch of the newly released TM70:2025 – Tall Buildings Drainage Design guidance.

Building on the success of the national launch in London last year, this event will introduce the updated Technical Memorandum to engineers and building services professionals across the North West, highlighting its importance in shaping safe, efficient, and resilient drainage systems in high-rise developments.

The session will be led by Jassim Daureeawo, Chair of the SoPHE Technical Group & Professor Michael Gormley, from Heriot-Watt University and is kindly hosted by Geberit UK ltd.

The event will take place on Thursday 5th March 2026, with an early evening start at approx. 5:30pm (we suggest you arrive from 5pm onwards) and will be hosted in the Boardroom (2nd floor) at Rain Bar, Manchester.

Attendees will gain first-hand knowledge of the latest best practice in tall building drainage design, take part in technical discussion, and enjoy the opportunity to network with fellow professionals from both the SoPHE and CIBSE communities.
