Book NowThis presentation delves into the concept of the circular economy and its pivotal role in fostering sustainable development. It highlights how Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) serve as essential tools for assessing the environmental impact of products across their lifecycle. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of the principles behind the circular economy, including waste reduction, resource efficiency, and product longevity, and how these align with global sustainability goals.
The session will also provide a detailed overview of EPDs—what they are, why they matter, and how they are developed. Through practical guidance, participants will learn how to interpret EPDs effectively, focusing on key metrics such as carbon footprint, energy consumption, and material impact. By the end of the presentation, attendees will be equipped to leverage EPDs to make informed decisions that support circular economy initiatives and drive sustainable practices in their organizations or industries.
