SFE Italy

SFE Italy AGM second edition: useful touch point to both inform the SFE italy members on the Association main activities, 2025 and 2026 activity plans, and to gather feedback and hear about initiatives and ideas from the audience

Curved Glass: held at Deerns, it was an excellent technical presentation with international speakers such as Joan Tarrùs of Sedak. We've seen great international interest in the audience with people coming from abroad and have also fast exceeded the number of  participants.

Our panel at ZAK Milano was another great success. We aimed to spark a meaningful conversation around façade procurement routes and highlight the value of solutions like PCSAs and Design Assist in driving project success for all stakeholders. We engaged with a diverse group of industry professionals — including developers, main contractors, façade designers, engineers, and architects — to ensure a well-rounded discussion.

SFE Scotland

For their first event of the year, the SFE Scotland Hub organised a tour of the brand-new state-of-the-art Henshaw Facades curtain wall, window and door fabrication facility at Newbridge, Edinburgh.

The event featured a guided tour of Henshaw's cutting-edge equipment and processes, an insight into Henshaw's innovative fabrication techniques and an oppournity to meet the team delivering Henshaw's high-quality products.

SFE London

The SFE held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) in April 2025 at Arup, 80 Charlotte Street, London. The AGM was a chance for the SFE Board to update members on the last twelve months activity and share our plans for the next year.

Following the AGM there were two presentations by SFE Façade 2024 Design and Engineering Awards winners:

  • Ramboll, winner of the Digital Innovation Award for FAT PAnDA: Façade Assessment Tool for Performance Analysis & Dynamic Appraisal.
  • Bellapart, winner of the Project of the Year – Special Structures International for L’Oréal, 14 Rue Royale.

The AGM was followed by networking drinks, providing SFE members with a chance to catch up with old faces and make new connections.

SFE North America

In June, the SFE North America Hub hosted a façade walking tour visiting the Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) and 3 World Trade Center in FiDi. Attendees heard from AGC INTERPANE and Permasteelisa North America | Benson about how their work on these iconic buildings.
