CIBSE Patrons celebrated the 40th anniversary of the group's founding in 2019, with a reception at Tower Bridge Gateway.
The event was attended by around 100 Patrons and other guests, with Jay Surti, a trustee with the Women's Engineering Society, the guest speaker. Jay spoke engagingly about the need to encourage a much broader intake of new entrants to the engineering profession and called for more collaboration between key engineering institutions.
The event was hosted by current Patrons chair Nick Mead, with former chairs Alec Moir, Doug Oughton, Charles Lever and David Fitzpatrick all present as special guests.
