Volunteering on a Special Interest Group (SIG) committee is just one of the ways to contribute to your Group.
Group members are anyone that has signed up via their CIBSE profile. As such the Groups are free to join for both CIBSE members and non-members. Contributing to your Special Interest Group does not have to be time-consuming as there are many one-off activities you can do to support your fellow members.
Any of the following types of participation count towards your Continued Professional Development (CPD.)
