About the Role:
Are you creative, digitally savvy, and passionate about promoting building services engineering?
We’re looking for volunteers to manage and grow our HVAC Systems Group’s social media presence. This is a great opportunity to help share technical knowledge, highlight upcoming events, and showcase the incredible work happening across the building services industry.
You’ll work alongside a supportive team of volunteers to raise awareness of topics relevant to the group and the upcoming events, helping to connect professionals, students, and industry professionals worldwide.
What you'll do:
- Create and schedule content across platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram)
- Promote events including webinars, site visits, and technical talks
- Share industry news, thought leadership, and member insights
- Design simple graphics or collaborate with others to produce visual content
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow our audience
- Coordinate with fellow volunteers and CIBSE staff to align messaging
- Keep a consistent tone and visual identity across all posts
