Position: Volunteer Author – Data Centre Group Guidance Documents

About the Role: The CIBSE Data Centre Group (DCSIG) is seeking passionate and knowledgeable volunteers to co-author a series of influential guidance documents. These publications will shape industry best practices and support professionals in the data centre sector. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise, enhance your professional profile, and help advance the field of data centre engineering and sustainability.

- Zero Generation Strategies Guidance
- Sustainability Guidance for Data Centres (Heat Recovery)
- CFD Simulation and Analysis Guidance
- Liquid Cooling for Data Centres
- Power Systems Guidance
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Content Development: Draw on your technical knowledge and industry experience to research, draft, and refine guidance content.
- Collaboration: Work with other authors, the DCSIG committee, and industry experts to ensure accuracy, relevance, and clarity.
- Review and Feedback: Incorporate feedback from peer reviews and committee members to produce high-quality, practical guidance.

Requirements:
- Relevant experience or expertise in data centre engineering, sustainability, CFD, liquid cooling, commissioning, or power systems.
