HOW PAST FINALISTS HAVE BENEFITED

The nomination has helped me gain recognition and inspiration within my current organization and school. The award itself was a great platform for people who are interested in the industry to freely express their opinions.

 – Jeff Tsang, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons), UNSW – Mark Griffin Student of the Year finalist 2019

Being a finalist has resulted in many people outside the company wanting to work with me.  Having me on a bid is a positive even with my limited experience.

 – Katherine Jones, Electrical Engineer, Wood and Grieve Engineers – Graduate of the Year finalist 2019

WHAT'S NEW IN 2020?

The competition calls for a video response:
What changes need to occur in planning the built environment today to help achieve a desirable, high-performing, sustainable built environment one decade on?

Age restrictions for Young Engineer of the Year have been replaced with “up to 7 years of building services experience” to make this award more accessible to those who have taken a career break or career change.
