ASHRAE is an international society of more than 50,000 heating, refrigerating and air-conditioning professionals from over 132 nations, dedicated to serving humanity and promoting a sustainable world.
The Society and its members focus on building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, refrigeration and sustainability within the industry. Through research, standards writing, publishing and continuing education, ASHRAE helps to shape tomorrow’s built environment today.
CIBSE has maintained a strategic relationship with ASHRAE over a number of years, reflecting our shared values and interests across building services engineering globally. Our collaboration includes regular Liaison Committee meetings comprising CIBSE and ASHRAE leadership, participation in our respective events and conferences, as well as supporting each other's young engineers' networks. We have also collaborated on joint position documents and technical guides, such as ‘Resiliency in the Build Environment’ and TM65 North America.
