This consultation sought views on the UK Government's position regarding the proposals and how they might be implemented by UK Member states. The proposed re-cast of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive seeks to clarify and simply certain aspects, extend the scope of the Directive, strengthen certain provisions, and give the public sector a leading role in promoting energy efficiency.
