CIBSE responded to the Government consultation for EPCs and the Establishment of the Green Homes Service on 1/9/08.
The CLG consultation suggested practical steps for making Energy Performance Certificates more accessible and to act as catalyst for behaviour change including giving the Carbon Trust access to the information contained in non-domestic EPCs. Also to allow search of the commercial register by address to know whether a given building has an EPC, though not to download it.
