Recently, the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) hosted an Industry Roundtable to discuss and share information on a number of topics, such as pipe sizing research, water usage monitoring, data collection and use and pipe sizing Performance Solutions, which Paul Angus participated in.
Industry attendance included representatives, from the Hydraulic Consultants Association Australasia Ltd, the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), Deakin University, GWA Group Limited and other industry professionals each bringing expertise in different areas to the discussions.
The ABCB took this opportunity to present on areas being investigated by the office such as Quantification of the PCA Performance Requirements and pipe sizing (water services and sanitary systems) research being undertaken through the PCA Development Research Project.
