CIBSE is pleased to announce that work has begun on a Brazilian addendum to the TM65 guide, following the success of other regional adaptations.
The TM65 Brazil addendum will provide tailored guidance for consultants and manufacturers in the region on estimating embodied carbon in building services, reflecting local practices regulations and context.
CIBSE is delighted to continue its collaboration with ASHRAE and the ASHRAE Brazil Chapter on this initiative, and the partners will also work together on promotional activities to support awareness and adoption of the guide in Brazil.
This builds on the partnership between CIBSE and ASHRAE to create Embodied carbon in building services: A calculation methodology for North America, setting out alternative assumptions for applying the CIBSE embodied carbon methodology across Canada, the United States and Mexico.
This development reinforces CIBSE’s ongoing commitment to supporting building services professionals worldwide, helping them deliver high-performance, sustainable buildings in line with local needs and global best practice.
