CIBSE ANZ Response to COVID-19

News
16 Mar 20

Dear CIBSE ANZ members and industry supporters,

CIBSE ANZ is taking the COVID-19 pandemic most seriously, with the well-being of our committees, members and industry colleagues at the forefront of our mind.  As you will all be aware, the general advice, nationally and internationally, is to avoid public gatherings. For this reason, we have suspended all face-to-face technical seminars whilst continuing to monitor advice.

We still want to deliver first-class technical presentations for our members and the industry at large. We are in the process of moving our series of technical events hosted around Australia and New Zealand to a digital platform and will notify you shortly of ways to register to attend. This will allow us to share future scheduled technical presentations via virtual panels and deliver presentations with interactive features for attendees. This will even allow us to extend the reach of content more broadly, across chapters.

There may be some initial teething issues to work through and we thank you for your support as we transition to a virtual platform. Should the situation change, we will endeavour to keep you informed.

Please do look after yourselves and follow the latest government health advice to stay safe.

Kind regards

Mark Crawford, CIBSE ANZ Chair
