CIBSE will play a central role at elementalLONDON on 19–20 November at Excel London, leading two dedicated Build2Perform theatres – Synergy and Influence – designed to inform, inspire, and shape the future of the built environment, including a welcome and keynote from CIBSE President Vince Arnold with a reflection on leadership, legacy, and collective responsibility.
As the authoritative voice of building services engineers, CIBSE is curating a programme that addresses the sector’s most pressing challenges.
Themes include:
• Decarbonisation – from policy to implementation, including the future of heating, cooling, and heat pump applications
• Building performance and indoor environmental quality – practical solutions for delivering healthier, more efficient spaces
• Climate resilience – ensuring the built environment is prepared for a changing climate
• Collaboration, inclusion and social value – how the industry can drive accountability and create lasting impact
Alongside CIBSE-led sessions, the theatres will feature insights from organisations such as IES, NIBE, Dutypoint, VES, Multi-Circuit, Snap-One, and the Construction Inclusion Coalition, as well as contributions from CIBSE’s Building Simulation Group.
Through this platform, CIBSE continues to lead the conversation on decarbonisation, performance, and professional standards – reinforcing its role as a trusted voice in the transition to a sustainable built environment.
