We are delighted to announce that Rob Redfern is taking on the role of the new Chair of the CIBSE Technology Committee. Rob brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the position, having previously served on the East Midlands CIBSE Committee and CIBSE National Council as a consulting engineer a number of years ago.
In his current role as On-site Renewable Energy Manager for Tesco, Rob is eager to contribute his extensive knowledge and expertise to the committee.
He said: 'I’m passionate about leaving this world a little better than when I found it. Being involved in the Technology Committee will allow me to do my bit and help drive the change CIBSE can lead, across the globe. The committee has a great opportunity to be at the forefront of how our industry reacts to climate adaption needs, aligned with the advancements in technology, of which I am very excited about.'
We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Katie Clemence-Jackson for her outstanding contributions as the outgoing Chair as her dedication and leadership have been invaluable to the committee.
