CIBSE is excited to announce, Engineering Futures: Learning to Build Net Zero, a special event supported by the Education Fund, which will take place during the day, before the Young Engineers Awards on 9 October 2025.

In this session, recruitment experts Craig Watts and Adam Smeddle from Hays will share insights into the current recruitment landscape and career opportunities within Building Services Engineering and related sectors. Whether you're just starting out or exploring new directions, this session will offer valuable guidance.

 Session Two: Pathways to Membership, Professional Registration, and Continuing Professional Development

Hear from Mark Samson, Senior Membership Development Manager at CIBSE, and Wendy Belfield, Commercial Director at InTandem, T-Level Ambassador, and recipient of the BCIA Outstanding Contribution of the Year Award (2020) for her pivotal role in launching the BEMS Controls Engineer Apprenticeship. Together, they will explore routes to CIBSE membership and professional registration, including alternative pathways for those with engineering backgrounds.
