In this session, we will cover:
- Topic 1 – F Gas Regulations and the Future of Refrigerants including the impact of refrigerant phase downs, specifying air conditioning for today's buildings, working with low-GWP refrigerants and the future of low GWP
- Topic 2 - Efficiency Test Standards Overview providing an understanding for the tests & calculations to allow designers to make better use of manufacturer performance data and relate to specific projects
Speaker's name: Iain Howie
Speaker's biography: Iain is the Consultant Account Manager at Mitsubishi Electric, specializing in supporting building services consultants with the design and specification of advanced HVAC systems, including Air Source and Water Source Heat Pumps, VRF, and Hybrid VRF (HVRF) solutions.
Iain works across a diverse range of sectors, from commercial developments to public infrastructure projects, providing technical guidance and system design expertise to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and alignment with sustainability goals. With a focus on helping clients navigate the path to net-zero carbon by selecting the most appropriate low-carbon technologies for their building needs.
