Building Services Awards
Whether you are an individual studying building services engineering, just started out in your career, or working for a building services company that is delivering outstanding projects or products, CIBSE offers a number of ways that you and your team can be recognised for your achievements and celebrate success.

Recognising the businesses, teams, products and projects that demonstrate engineering excellence in the built environment. Entries are sought that demonstrate improved energy efficiency through measured building performance.

Exhibition of shortlisted designs: Shortlisted designs will be showcased at ecobuild 2018 at Excel, London. The winning design will be announced at an ecobuild reception on 6 March 2018.
In partnership with UKCIP, the Green Infrastructure Design Challenge invites individuals, teams, students, practitioners, and researchers to demonstrate how both indoor and outdoor green infrastructure can contribute to the health, wellbeing and productivity of staff, while simulataneously improving the building's energy efficiency and climatic resilience.
Open to candidates that have graduated in a building services related discipline within the last two years. First prize is a trip to the 2018 ASHRAE Conference in Chicago.

Awarded to organisations that pro-actively champion young people in the building services sector, through commitment to young people in the workplace or by supporting those employees through education.

Provides a unique platform for young lighters to write a paper on a lighting subject, hone their presentation skills in front of an invited panel of judges, and raise their profile within the industry, and win professional kudos.

Awarded to students in their final year of a building services course accredited by CIBSE recognising their academic achievements at the end of their course of study.
Details of the 2017 CIBSE Undergraduate Award winner
Applicants, aged 18-35, are challenged to develop an engineering solution. Winners then receive an in-country technical visit to verify the applicability of their design.

The bursary makes awards available of between £1,500 and £4,000 to CIBSE members in the developmental stage of their careers and offers the chance to travel and research areas connected with the applicant's field of work.

FAÇADE2017 is the latest iteration of the SFE’s international competition, designed to recognise, reward and promote excellence in the key disciplines of façade design, engineering and application.

An annual prize run by the CIBSE Building Simulation Group open to postgraduate students from the UK and overseas. The aim is to encourage the use of, and develop innovation in, building simulation techniques for research and development.
