Back ot HCNW Updates
It was a beautiful afternoon for HCNW's tour of Wembley Stadium.
We visited the hallowed pitch - turf cut daily for much of the year, on a man-made substrate - which was being treated by grow lamps and automated watering.
Ben took us round the exclusive parts of the complex beneath the FA's HQ offices. It has impressive scale and above all, enclosed volume. In the preparation areas, there are areas without ceilings, the services protected by netting. Through the famous tunnel and out onto part of the the pitch, HCNW were treated to an excellent and rewarding tour. Several of us posed with the FA Cup, at least a silver replica. As is usual for these occasions, HCNW gave a press conference:
