Senior Air Conditioning Engineer - North - £48,000 Location: Mobile role covering Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, and Sheffield Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 per annum (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are working with a highly regarded HVAC services company that is looking to appoint a Senior Air Conditioning Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a great opportunity for a qualified engineer with strong technical and fault-finding skills who is confident working independently across a mobile patch. The role involves service, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of systems across both commercial and high-end residential sites. Ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and values a supportive, professional team environment. About the role You’ll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive service work across a range of systems, including split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF setups. The role also includes accurate fault diagnosis, repairs, and the completion of digital reports using the company’s tablet-based system. While the position is field-based, you’ll be supported by a structured and well-run back-office team. You’ll also be included in an on-call rota once you’ve completed a three-month probation period. Key responsibilities Service and maintain a range of air conditioning systems (split, multi, VRV/VRF) Diagnose and repair system faults quickly and accurately Carry out technical assessments and use service checkers effectively Complete reports and documentation using a tablet-based system (ATOM) Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and regulatory requirements Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at every site Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in air conditioning service and maintenance FGAS Category 1 qualified (essential) Full, clean UK driving licence (essential) Comfortable working independently in the field Strong understanding of major manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic Excellent communication, time management, and fault-finding skills What’s on offer Competitive basic salary of £40,000 – £48,000 (based on experience) Company performance bonus scheme – earn up to £1,200 per quarter (£4,800 annually) 22 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 25 days after 3 years) 10-hour door-to-door working day (travel included within that timeframe) Company van and fuel card Tablet, mobile phone, and specialist tools provided Full PPE, uniform, and branded workwear supplied Structured training and ongoing professional development Workplace pension scheme Positive working environment with a friendly and supportive team Please Contact Georgie Thain [email protected] 020 7932 2800
