Principal or Associate Energy Lead Location: Dorset or Berkshire to suit candidate Salary Range: £55,000 to £70,000 About the Role:My client, an award-winning engineering consultancy, is seeking a creative and driven Principal or Associate Energy Lead to join their Dorset or Berkshire office. This role involves promoting sustainable development for a range of projects across all sectors and leading the development of energy strategies. It combines leadership and hands-on responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership and lead projects with industry-leading clients. Lead energy workshops with the client and design team. Undertake a range of modelling and analysis, including performance simulation, operational energy use, energy generation, and overheating. Support the drive towards realising net-zero whole-life carbon in projects. Manage and prioritise the workload of a project team. Report resourcing requirements to the project lead team. Contribute to the development of junior team members. Delegate, manage, and review work undertaken by others. Engage in research and development initiatives to stay at the cutting edge of industry knowledge. About You: 5 to 10 years' experience within consultancy, looking for a new challenge. Expertise and a degree in an applicable field with a passion for creating sustainable solutions. Confidence in leading energy workshops with design teams. Good communication skills and enthusiasm for working within a team environment.
