Facilitating & providing technical expertise on Energy Kaizen Leadership and HVAC systems. Reporting on engineering KPIs by reviewing the data collection phases and quality of the technical work. Applying expertise in engineering complex GMP compliant HVAC systems for building services. Leading stakeholder discussions with clients on the technical delivery and progress. Working on client site to facilitate projects (both nationally and internationally). Working closely with the Engineering Manager to develop the technical expertise. Responsible for adoption of technical best practice and adoption by the engineering team to maintain consistency and quality of deliverables Supporting the Business's ISO 9001 status for consistent quality delivery. Business Operations (10% of the role): Working closely and collaborating with the senior leadership team, operations team, and sales team to ensure effective operations to support current and future client engagements, by helping to develop project resources. Participating in weekly engineering team management meetings and taking responsibility for delivering agreed actions and reporting. Supporting business risk management through identification and mitigation activities. Assisting in a culture of innovation and excellence and maintaining global subject matter expert status. Supporting Business Growth (10% of the role): Collaborating with the senior leadership team, and wider teams to implement short and long-term plans, focusing on value propositions. Support of subject matter expert status by maintaining industry leading knowledge related to the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry. Mechanical Engineer
Our client is a privately owned building services consultancy established in 1987. They have experienced steady growth by providing first class project delivery and now consist of a team of 50 multi-disciplinary Building Services and Sustainability Engineers. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on some of the UK’s largest high end residential and hotel projects. Key Accountabilities Produce detailed design calculations and preparation of design drawings, specifications, and information. Assist in the practical training of Graduate and Technician Engineers. Managing a team of junior engineers. Receive brief from Principal Engineer about initial design information. Produce all design information as outlined in the Project Management Plan. Ensure that all calculations and drawings have been properly checked. Liaise with internal and external Design Team, Client and Contractors. Assemble all calculations, drawings, correspondence, and other project documents. Consider financial implications in producing design option. Maintain good communication with Clients, Design Team and Contractors to meet the Company’s standards in customer care. Ensure client satisfaction in project delivery with a view to obtaining repeat business. Maintain and develop an understanding of the key software. They are looking for a Revit Technician to work on a diverse project portfolio, including masterplan regeneration projects, mixed use residential and commercial schemes, hotels, and medical centres. To be considered for this role applicants will have: 2 years REVIT experience in a commercial working environment. Using Revit MEP to create complex 3D building systems and geometries for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, IT, containment and fire protection systems. Working from Engineer’s mark-up's and sketches under minimum supervision to produce MEP drawings in Revit MEP and CAD as appropriate to each project. Proven hands-on Experience of Autodesk Building Design Suite, which includes Revit Practical knowledge of 3D BIM/REVIT Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D Familiar with UK building regulations.
