Your new role The company is seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing mechanical systems for a variety of projects, with a focus on plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems. Hybrid working conditions would be considered for this role, allowing you to balance office and remote work. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed mechanical designs for plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems across a range of projects. Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards. Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for design development. Use design software and tools to create accurate and efficient mechanical system designs. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Stay up-to-date with advancements in mechanical design and engineering technologies. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the construction or mechanical services industry.Strong knowledge of plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems. Proficiency in designing software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills. I am currently representing an excellent building services company who are in need of Semi Static Commercial gas engineer to be operating across 3 campuses at the Queen Mary University in East London. Site cluster: All sites are within 1 square mile of each other within Mile End/Whitechapel in London. In this role You will be looking after a cluster of sites carrying out visual checks and maintenance on: Commercial Plant room Maintenance Commercial Boilers & Burners Package £48/55k Basic Van, fuel card, uniform, tablet, phone and training provided Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with half hour lunch Private use of van allowed Overtime available Call Out mandatory on 1 in 7 basis and with £200 per week retainer and paid x1.5 door to door SSP 28 days holiday per annum Engineer provides own hand tools Company Pension Scheme in place 6-month probation Pay weekly or monthly to suit Immediate start / will wait for right candidate. I'm looking for a BIM Coordinator from a Building Services (MEP) Design background to join this multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in London. Working closely with the team of four Revit and BIM technicians, you'll be responsible for MEP coordination for hotel, commercial office, residential, and mixed-use projects. Success here isn't measured by how many years you have in the industry. Your commitment isn't measured by how many days you spend in the office.
