Your new company You will be working for a specialist Mechanical HVAC contractor, that works on a variety of different commercial projects usually on high-end offices within the London area. Your new role You will be working as an experienced Mechanical Project Manager overseeing projects. Typically you would be overseeing 3 to 4 projects and the values could be equally as varied usually between £100,000 to £2/3 million. What you'll need to succeed You preferably be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with experience of overseeing multiple projects. It would be particularly advantageous if you have experience of CAT B fit outs. Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer - To £50K + 26 days leave + 5% pension + full autonomy + variety. Apart from more money, most Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineers I speak with are looking to get experience in different sectors and continue to learn new skills. Established in the UK over 25 years ago, this independently owned, buildings surveying, project management and construction consultancy are continuing to grow. Having set up a new MEP offering in 2023, this new M&E Design team now employs four M&E Design Engineers which consist of 1 x Electrical Director, 1 x Electrical Associate, 1 x Senior Electrical Engineer and 1 x Senior Mechanical. Due to growth, they now require an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to help support their Senior Mechanical Engineer. You'll enjoy working on the design of a broad range of commercial office, mixed use and residential projects across the city; and develop new skills in client advisory services such Pre-Acquisition Surveys, TDD (Technical Due Diligence), Condition Surveys, PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and Dilapidation Surveys. As M&E is a new team within a well-established surveying business you'll get the best of both worlds. What you'll need to succeed Experience with a Main Contractor or Sub-Contractor in core systems such as Gas, LV & HV, Power, HVAC, Data systems, Fire and Security Systems, Lifts and escalators, Utilities. Previous experience as a Building Services Manager, Mechanical Contracts Manager or M&E Coordinator. Essential Qualifications: Technical qualification in a Mechanical Trade with Main Contractor or Subcontractor Management Experience. BTEC in Building Services Engineering, Operations and Maintenance Engineering. Electrical or Mechanical Building Services to HNC/HND level. Degree in Building Services Engineering. Desirable Qualifications: CIBSE Chartered Engineer, NEBOSH, 3D Revit/BIM, Amtech, IOSH, Microsoft Project, Asbestos Awareness, ILM. Regular UK travel is to be expected. 2D CAD Technician (contract/freelance)

Your new company This company is a Mechanical and Electrical Building Services engineering consultancy based in Co. Antrim. They are a newly established business run by a highly experienced team of engineers with a wealth of experience in the Building Services contracting and consulting industry. Your new role Due to project demands, this company has an immediate need for someone who is proficient in Computer Aided Design. Initially you will be focused on creating 2D schematic M&E drawings for an 8-storey hotel. This will include ventilation, plumbing and waste details for construction drawings. As you will be working closely with the Senior Engineer, you don't need to have previous experience of M&E design drawings as the Senior Engineer will guide and support you. The duration of the contract is initially until the end of September 2024. However, due to continued growth in workload, the contract may extend or become permanent. Based in Ballyclare from the company's office, you will be provided with a fully equipped CAD workstation. This role would be suitable for a graduate or experienced person, as the salary and workload would be adjusted accordingly. What you'll need to succeed To be eligible for this position you must be proficient with AutoCAD and have experience creating and amending construction drawings. It would be beneficial to have mechanical or electrical CAD drawing experience, but not essential. What you'll get in return You will join a small but friendly and highly professional team based from their modern office. Salary £26,000 to £31,000 depending on experience.
